Syed Mohsin Ahmed

Syed Mohsin Ahmed has been associated with the Pakistan Microfinance Network
since its creation as a legal entity in 2001. He was promoted to General Manager
in 2006 and is now heading the management team as the CEO. He put in place a
strong management team with internal control systems ensuring that PMN continues
to perform as a cutting edge entity. He is a Chartered Management Accountant and
is trained on microfinance and leadership from the Boulder MF Training Program
and HBS-Accion leadership program.
Ali Basharat

He oversees the publication of the state of the industry report Pakistan
Microfinance Review and is tasked with promoting investment in the sector by
establishing linkages with both local and international investors. In this
regard, he interacts closely with the commercial banks, DFIs, Microfinance
investments Vehicles and other financial institutes. Ali is a graduate of London
School of Economics.
Muhammad Waqas Khan

He looks after the secretarial matters, financial reporting, investment
management and budgeting at the PMN. Previously he has experience in assurance
and business advisory services from prestigious Accountacy Firms, including
A.F.Ferguson & Co., a member firm of PricewaterHouseCoopers (PwC). His
additional responsibilities include but are not limited to coordinating audit
functions, liaising with external regulators and advisers in statutory and
regulatory matters, administration of the company's pension scheme, insurance
and cash and fixed assets management.
Fahd Zaman Khan

He is responsible for managing Human Resource and Administrative matters. His
experience involves project management, sectoral policy development, and
research in education as well as technical and vocational skills development in
the development sector. He holds a Masters in Economics from Quaid-i-Azam
University, Islamabad.
Saman Farhan

Saman Farhan is a seasoned program management professional with extensive
experience in research, policy advocacy, and stakeholder engagement. Currently
serving as Senior Manager of Programs at Pakistan Microfinance Network, she
leads initiatives focused on financial inclusion, gender mainstreaming, and
economic empowerment. Saman's expertise spans working with government bodies,
international organizations, and grassroots communities to deliver impactful
projects. She has successfully managed donor relationships, conducted fieldwork,
and developed strategic insights for product development and policy dialogue.
With a strong background in qualitative research and public health, Saman is
dedicated to driving meaningful change through innovative solutions
Tayyab Saqib

Tayyab Saqib is a dedicated professional with a solid track record in research.
He has conducted and implemented research studies across various regions in
Pakistan, demonstrating a keen ability to transform raw data into actionable
insights. Tayyab currently serves as Manger Research with Pakistan Microfinance
Network, where his contributions are instrumental in shaping strategies and
policies for the microfinance sector. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics
from LUMS.
